Fast registration in four steps

1. You enquire by phone, WhatsApp or the contact form. We send you the document list for your case.
2. You send us photos of your documents by WhatsApp or email. We check that everything is complete.
3. You bring us the originals and the signed power of attorney – or we pick them up from you.
4. We complete the registration at the Munich vehicle registration authority. You collect your papers and stamped plates – usually after 24 hours. If you prefer, we deliver them or send them by post.

What affects the time

• Complete documents: If the eVB number or the registration certificate part II is missing, the registration can only be done later.
• Power of attorney in original: The authority requires the signed original – a photo or scan is not enough.
• Special cases: If the registration certificate is held by a bank, a vehicle is imported or a custom plate has to be reserved, it can take longer. Talk to us beforehand.
• Sundays and public holidays: We accept orders on Sundays and public holidays; they are processed on the next working day, as the registration office is closed then.

Do I need an appointment at the registration office?

No. The Munich registration office works by appointment only, but we go to the authority for you. You neither have to book an appointment nor go there yourself.

What should I prepare so it goes quickly?

Have your documents complete: signed power of attorney, ID, eVB number, vehicle papers and – depending on the case – proof of the roadworthiness test (HU) and a SEPA mandate. The exact list is on each service page and under how it works. Send us photos in advance and we check everything.

Do I have to bring my documents in person?

You can hand them in at our office at Ludwig-Richter-Straße 29. On request we pick them up from you. The authority needs the originals – a photo is only enough for our advance check.

Which vehicles do you handle?

Vehicle owners in the City of Munich (plates “M” and “MUC”): private owners whose main residence is in the City of Munich, and companies with their seat or a branch there.
