Order your car registration online in Munich

Want to get your registration moving conveniently, without an appointment and without a trip to the authority? Then commission us online: by WhatsApp, phone or contact form. We check your documents in advance from photos and complete the registration at the Munich vehicle registration authority for you. This is not a fully digital registration – the authority needs your original documents – but you save the appointment, the waiting and the trip to the registration office.

What “ordering online” means with us

1. Place your order: Write to us on WhatsApp, call us or use the contact form. We send you the document list for your case.
2. Send photos: You send us photos of your documents by WhatsApp or email. We check in advance that everything is complete.
3. Hand over the power of attorney and originals: Download the power of attorney, sign it and bring us the originals – on request we pick everything up from you.
4. We complete the registration: We go to the Munich vehicle registration authority for you. This usually takes 24 hours – more under fast car registration.
5. Collect: Collect your vehicle papers and stamped licence plates from us – or, if you prefer, we deliver them or send them by post.

What cannot be done online

The registration itself is not completed fully online with us. The authority requires the power of attorney and the vehicle papers in original and, for a deregistration, the licence plates as well. A photo or scan is not enough; it only serves our advance check. We also do not offer registration through the online procedure i-Kfz.

Use i-Kfz yourself or commission us?

You can use the internet-based registration (i-Kfz) yourself if your vehicle and documents are suitable. As a rule you need, among other things, an ID card with the online eID function, a user account, the eVB number and the scratched-off security codes on the vehicle documents. If you would rather skip this effort, or your case is not suitable for the online procedure, we take care of the registration for you – without you going to the authority.

Which documents you can send as photos in advance

• ID card or passport (front and back)
• Registration certificate part I (Fahrzeugschein) and part II (Fahrzeugbrief)
• eVB number from your car insurer
• Proof of a valid roadworthiness test (HU)
• the completed power of attorney and – for a registration – the completed SEPA mandate for vehicle tax

Can I do the whole car registration online?

You can commission us online, but the registration itself is not purely digital. The authority needs your documents and the power of attorney in original. We handle the trip to the authority for you.

Is a photo of my documents enough?

Do I have to come in person?

You can hand in the originals at our office at Ludwig-Richter-Straße 29. On request we pick them up from you.
